SLZ Secures New U.S. Patent for Markerless XR Technology, Strengthening Global IP Portfolio

2025-04-28

In April 2025, SLZ—a pioneer in digital twin and con-tech solution development—was granted a U.S. patent for its markerless XR technology. The patented system, server, method, and program enable the display of construction site objects as XR content without the use of physical markers.

This breakthrough technology addresses the limitations of conventional marker-based XR, offering a more intuitive and flexible way to visualize real-time construction data. It is expected to significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of design, construction, and inspection processes on-site.

Following its XR-based inspection-assistance patent granted in February, SLZ has now secured two core XR technology patents in the U.S., rapidly expanding its international IP portfolio.

To date, SLZ holds 39 domestic IP rights (23 patents and 16 trademarks) and 11 overseas rights (8 patents and 3 trademarks)—an exceptional achievement for a con-tech startup within just five years of founding.

An SLZ representative stated, “This new U.S. patent officially validates the uniqueness and global competitiveness of our XR technology. It also lays a strong foundation for expanding our business in international markets.”
